Isn’t this appropriate for summer? Summer memories are good ones, playing outside, going to the beach or the pool, grilling outdoors, hiking, walking, and on and on.
Well, we went strawberry picking, my nieces and I and my niece’s daughter. It was a wonderful day, clear and sunny but on the cool side which is perfect for being out in the strawberry fields. Without ado here are the pics from yesterday.
Denise is showing her strawberry that looks like a tooth.

Here’s Michele. She found a strawberry that looks like an old man.

It’s the simple things that bring pleasure…the old man in the strawberry.

here comes the Berry Ferry…..


It was a short ride because they were picking in a near field. Darn.  It’s a longer ride for blueberries. That’s next month.


At the payout station they have recipe flyers. Some of these recipes look pretty unique.





This last one looks interesting to me. Strawberry Shortcake Supper! What? Nice.
