Pretty Birdbath from Tag Sale Junk

A Birdbath made from tag sale stuff!

I bought this pretty, large salad plate at a tag sale. I knew exactly what I was going to do with it, too.
I was going to put it in the garden as a birdbath! So that’s what I did. I’m really extremely pleased with how it turned out.
I put pretty glass stones in it. See?
I couldn’t resist taking lots of pictures of the pretty stones under water.
The sun was dappling through the trees also. It was so exciting to take pictures with the beautiful sunlight sparkling all around so, of course, I took loads of pictures.

Okay, here is the plate.

Here is how it looked in the garden in front of the little pond. See the purple flowers .
They are INSIDE the pond.

There is the angel dog statue in the background.
Isn’t this just right?

Here is a nice collage that was made in Livewriter.

Isn’t this a weird shot? I like it though. It’s dreamy.

Birdbath

Here are a few Photoscape collages. Love that program. Easy to use and free, too.

This one is my favorite.

Has anyone tried Photoscape? Well worth the trouble to see what it’s about.
Happy Summer!

  3. Wow, what a great idea. I would not have even considered using a large plate. I would have just settled for an ordinary birdbath. I also love the photo collages you created. They looked beautiful. Thanks for adding this to the Our Favorite Things Link Party.
