Feeding our Friends, the Birds

CUPCAKES for the birds....
BIRD CAKE
Bird cupcakes, that is!
To make these “cupcakes” you need.
corn meal
Cream these two together (corn meal and peanut butter) in equal parts.
peanut butter
It’s pretty easy to stir together, too.
I put cupcake papers in the cupcake tin and my granddaughter filled them with the peanut butter, cornmeal mixture.

Then she wanted to put apple slices in them which I also thought was a great idea.
apple slices
She put one of the birdie cupcakes in a little peat pot and with some sunflower seeds on top.
It looks good enough to eat!
Apples and peanut butter
After we had them all made, I put them in the window boxes on the front of the house.
It looks like there is a candle in the middle of this one, but the little light is a Christmas Candle in the window!

My husband thought these were for us to eat! ha ha

Happy eating, my sweet little feathered friends!
Best wishes,
