Hello, Everyone....

Here is the wildflower of the week! I did a post on dandelions and now I look at them in an entirely new and different way. I love them! I'm working on dandelion wine (it's fermenting). I did finally go to a wine making store and they gave me the skinny on how to make sure it comes out fairly good. I did have to buy some equipment (about $35. worth). I didn't think that was too bad. Two big 1 gallon glass jugs and a fermenting pail (2 gallons) and a few other things along with a book on making basic fruit wines. Did you know you can make honey wine? And banana wine? Yep, the fella said that you can get anything to ferment with the right yeast (and you know they had the right yeast - several different kinds) which will turn anything into wine. Interesting. I bought the little book, of course. Now I want to make blueberry and strawberry wines. Have I mentioned I don't drink? Practically at all? But why would that stop me from making wine? :)

Ellen at Creative Passage has done something I've been wanting to do for a long time. She made cement GARDEN BALLS! How fun is that??? I've been looking for glass globes to do other stuff with but I like this project. Anyway, she shows just how to do it!



A Peek Into My Paradise shows how to make meals ahead and freeze. She lists several "dump" recipes, where you dump the ingredients into a bag and put in the freezer, ready to pull out when you need it.


Dee at Dee Constructed has a bench REDO that will knock your socks off!
