I looked up paper bunnies in Google and came up with lots of different paper bunnies but this little Origami bunny turned out to be the cutest. When I added the pompom tail and the colorful ribbon, it really, really popped. Do you agree?
Some projects I get so happy with the results. This is one of those.
I had to keep stopping the video in order to keep up, but once I got started I kept making them. Now I can make them without the video. It's not that hard. Now I also made a chicken. Now THAT is one very difficult little thing to make and the girl in the video goes full speed so I had to keep stopping. I sort of made ONE chicken that doesn't look much like a chicken but I do want to master that ...
Anyway, here is the link to the video so YOU can make them, too.
I made these with scrapbooking paper - not the heavier cardstock scrapbooking paper.... the paper kind, think thin and easy to fold because there are a lot of folds.
Don't think you need special paper either. Just make a bunny. It's so fun!
Don't you just love the different colored bunny pompom tails and the colorful ribbon bows? Oh, and did you notice the little orange paper carrots?
Don't look too closely at the bunnies' ears. At the very end of making them you have to bend the ears forward and that sometimes caused an "uh oh" tiny rip. I got that under control at the very last of the bunnies. HA!
Two love bunnies...
Did you enjoy this? Do you think it's cute?
