Easter Pie with Jelly Beans!
Very easy. Me and my Mom made this pie and she was amazed at how easy it was. Everything goes in one bowl and then is "dumped" into a prepared graham cracker crust. I toasted the coconut flakes in the toaster oven - smells so yummy when it toasts... mmmm.... And then add jelly beans which was the very fun part!
Recipe for Easter Pie with Jelly Beans
Ingredients:
1 graham cracker pie crust
8 oz. package cream cheese, left at room temperature to soften
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 c. water
1 package instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 Cool Whip
toasted coconut flakes and jelly beans or any Easter candies
Cream the cream cheese and slowly add the condensed milk. Put in the pudding and water alternately a little at a time. After a few minutes the "pudding" will start to set up. At that point, add Cool Whip by folding it into the "pudding mix" carefully, so as not to deflate the fluffiness of the pudding mix.
At that point just pour it into the graham cracker crust. Add jelly beans and toasted coconut.
Cool for a few hours.
No kidding, this took about 10 minutes to make but is really festive looking for Easter, isn't it?
I have a full tutorial on how to make it also.
Happy Monday!
