It's amazing some of the toppings that are being put on ice cream. I bought some sea salt popcorn which is just addictive by itself but I've seen popcorn on ice cream around the blogs and thought I'd give it a try on my favorite fudge swirl ice cream. It was good but it needed just a little something more... like caramel sauce. Yep, that did it!! Perfect!!



So then I started searching around the internet to see what other toppings might be unusual and tasty.

Here are some of the toppings I thought were the weirdest most exotic-like.

1.crumbled bacon
2. balsamic vinegar
3. drizzle of olive oil
4. red beans
5. a sprinkle of cinnamon (or any spice)
6. crushed up snickerdoodles
7. maple syrup
8. crushed up candy bars of any kind
9. chopped nuts of any kind
10. toasted coconut sprinkles
11. lemon curd
12. jams and jellies
13. candied lemon or orange peel
14. warmed nutella or peanut butter
15. edible flowers would look really pretty
16. candied nuts
17. dried fruit of any kind
18. honey ham
19. crushed canned pineapple
20. cheeseburgers
21. pretzels
22. oysters
23. french fried potatoes
24. Doritos
25. bits of avocado

I'll bet you could think of lots of others!
