Anyway, I’m into it so I just give myself over to it. What the heck, there’s no sense in fighting it. When my sister starts on a jag she REALLY can keep that puppy going, but that’s another blog post. Actually, yea, that would be a GREAT blog post. She’s had so many, many jags… Yea, she’s way worse than me….(hi, Carol).
See these little houses? I was collecting them about 15 years ago. What fun! I still have them above my window sills in the living room. It’s so passe (that means out-of-date) but I still like them. Well, I had so many of them (I think that was another jag I had) that I had a few plastic boxes full of them –small plastic boxes – like a shoe box (I’m not that bad to have two big boxes full)!!
Well, I had the idea to put them on a wreath. Great, huh? And I had a large round grapevine wreath I didn’t know what to do with so BINGO, another wreath!
Oh, I bought a lot of little trees, a cow, flagpole, etc. to go with the houses, too.
I just learned how to do this cool thing with pictures in Live Writer.
Isn’t that cool? And you can shuffle the pictures and have all kinds of fun with them. I just learned that today from Susie over at First Floor Flat and she has a whole tutorial on it, too. Very cool. Thank you, Susie. I love this and I just happened to stumble upon it, too. No, not from the social media SU. Just cruising around the blogs. Cruising and pinning, pinning and cruising. I have lots of pins if you go into MY Pinterest – not Carol’s. I have WAY more than Carol. hee hee
Okay, let’s keep going.
I forgot to mention that I wrapped the wreath in fabric first and turned under the edges so there are no raw edges (I hate raw edges). That was pretty easy. I hot glued the fabric here and there.
Here it is. I had to wire on the big, red house at the bottom but the others I just hot glued on. Hope they stay on but they probably won’t and I’ll have to reglue some back on now and then. No prob.
Had to make another one of these…
So there it is…another wreath. Don’t worry, more to come…
Best Spring wishes to all.
