Warm Woolen Mittens

Warm woolen mittens and snow in Connecticut!! Last week we had warm weather and a hurricane (Sandy/Frankenstorm) and this week a Nor’easter swept through with about 5 inches of snow.

These Mittens Were Made From Old Sweaters
Now for the mittens. I love these mittens. I bought them at a Christmas Fair in Pennsylvania. They were two elderly ladies that made these mittens from old sweaters. Don’t you just love that each mitten is different?? I love that.

I love the white glove. My Mom wears sweaters that are pretty and embroidered like this glove. I like the way they used the part of the sweater with the buttons, too. Yummy!

The underside of the mittens is different from the top also.

Aren’t these gloves  super? I really want to MAKE them, of course. :)

Did you like the mittens?
Best wishes,

  10. Up here in NH we had a bit of snow, but it melted by the end of the day. Thank goodness.

I do love those mittens and the face that they are different from one another.
