I found this “Bead Ready Necklace Cord” that matched the rose pendant perfectly. And I found these large rings. The ring had to be big enough to go through the pendant. These are split rings which means the ring goes around twice. I ended up cutting off some of the ring in order to fit through the rose pendant.
It doesn’t get any easier than this, Folks, to make a necklace yourself! You get to pick out the pendant you want from a very large selection of pendants – Here in Connecticut we have Joann’s or Michael’s Crafts and also A.C. Moore Crafts. There are so many beautiful things to look at in the beading departments. I liked this pretty aqua rose. It’s so romantic looking and it was also on sale. :) I had a coupon to buy the cording, too.
Elaine, my neighbor modeled the necklace for me.
Thanks for viewing, everyone. Did you enjoy this? I hope I inspired someone to make a quick necklace like this.
This is the 30 second craft.

Just love that beautiful color! I love looking at the jewelry supplies at craft stores- you can really customize your own designs - I haven't made anything yet but this inspired me to :)
