Fun Halloween Mason Jar Craft
I've been seeing these all over the blogs and I wanted to make one, too.
Here is my take on the candy mason jar...
I bought some Halloween marshmallows and lined the mason jar with them. I filled the inside with candy corn and candy pumpkins. It looks so cute!!
And I bought some blue toile (fine netting) and made a bow.
It looked good but it needed a bit more...
I know ... a flower... a white flower...
I could make a coffee filter flower. I've made those before.. It was just the thing.
Now for the paper flowers.. I found a tutorial on how to make them. They are really cute.. you can look for a tutorial online. I just grab 5 papers or so and squinch them in the middle from underneath and give them a few shots of hot glue to hold them together and a few shots of hot glue to hold the flower to the jar top.
DIY Inspired shows how to make the flower very similar to how I make mine.
If you don't have a mason jar you could use a mayonnaise jar. This was really a sweet fun craft that a child would have fun helping with...
If you're on a diet, this might not be the thing to make. I ate a LOT of corn candies....
