I glued together the two jam jars, covered the bottom jar with a ribbon and tied it like a scarf. The hat was a pair of girl's leotards that I cut up and tied in a bunch at the top with string. The instructions called for socks but I couldn't find any Christmasy looking socks. So, since I wanted to make multiples of this little gift, I bought these pretty striped leotards and they will provide 4 or more "hats" for my snowmen. I took pictures of the leotards and how I cut them up but try as I might, I could not find the picture I had taken of it. You can see I cut a length of part of the leotard leg for the hat...
I used baker's twine to tie up the hat on the top and glued little pompoms on the end of the string.
I think the recipients of these little "jam snowmen" are going to be pretty happy ...
Other food gifts... Brownies baked in a Christmas ceramic tree dish.
Cinnamon Coffee Cake presented on a clipboard painted with chalk paint.
Believe it or not, it's supposed to snow here in Connecticut tomorrow. It can't be much because the high of the day is going to be 45 degrees.
Best wishes, everyone,

He's cute. Are you going to just hand them over as they are or try to wrap them up? I'm just worried about his little nose getting squashed! Is that rolled up coloured paper?
