12 Festive Cocktails for New Year's

12 Festive and Fun Holiday Cocktails

At first I wanted to do a post on "culinary cocktails" so there are some unusually flavorful and interesting mixed drinks infused with flavor from vegetables and fruits. Then I saw some "holiday" cocktails that looked too good not to be put in this collection for New Year's.  AND a kid's drink "Smores in a glass". So I decided to change the title to Holiday Cocktails.

Debi, at Adorned from Above makes a Cucumber Basil Martini...

Here is the HOKU, a Hawaiian drink by Nam Nguyan. She uses star fruit and lime as the culinary flavors. The recipe is on her blog, The Culinary Chronicles.

How Sweet Eats made a Pomegranate Margarita.

Beet Me in St. Louis cocktail... uses tarragon and other flavorful tastes. Oh, yummy.

Honeycrisp Apple Spiced Rum seems right at this time of year!

The Flair Exchange has a Rosemary Infused Cocktail.

Sugar and Charm makes a Candied Grapefruit and Grapefruit Gin Cocktail. She also has a tutorial on how to make the candied grapefruit!! OMG.

Spicy Cool Blood Orange Jalapeno Margaritas...

Peppermint Eggnog Shots. Oh, my!! This looks so delightful!

Gingerbread Martini?  Does that sound luscious?

A Warm, Christmas Glogg comes from Sweden and Denmark. Walnuts, raisins, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods and almonds and honey and  .. the list goes on.. what a rich drink this is.

S'more in a Glass kids "cocktail".

Need a cute Snowman Cheese Ball?

Cookie cutter Cheese Bites on a Stick?

What are you all doing for New Years? We usually have a family New Years (including kids). We eat all night and then watch the ball drop at midnight and a short time later everyone goes home. Then I get a call from my sister in PA, my son in PA, and my daughter if she's working (night nurse) and a call from my other daughter in a nearby town..

This year I'm going to try some Drunken Desserts and some  Fun Cocktails, including a kids S'mores drink! (Oh, the things I learn when I do a round-up!!)

Please, please  follow on TwitterI would so appreciate it.

Hope everyone's Christmas was perfect.
