CUTE and EASY Easter Bunny Basket DIY
Do you have any scrapbook paper? This little basket has to be made with the card stock kind of scrapbook paper in order to keep its shape. It's made with an 8 1/2 inch square of fabric and about 1 yard of some coordinating ribbon.
Fortunately I have LOTS of pretty papers (but never enough for some reason and never the perfect paper for what I need - hmmm... this is similar to the fabric problem - lots of fabric but never the absolute right one for the project). That just means I need to go to Joann's to get more. HA!
Here is a visual tutorial. It's easy, fast, and (depending on the paper) pretty for your Easter table.
Start with an 8 1/2 inch piece of card stock paper.
Fold all sides up 1 1/2 inch and crease.
Open up the paper and mark the square corners.
Cut out all corners.
Punch holes in all corners.
Fold up the sides of the basket and thread pretty ribbon through the 2 punched holes in matching corners. Tie a knot in each corner to keep the basket together.
Like so...
Add some Easter straw..
Add a pretty bunny and some candy...
All done. How many of these do you think you can make in an hour?
Have fun with this. I know I am having fun with paper right now. :)
Here is a wreath embellished with pretty little paper fans.
Have a great week, everyone...
