1957 Chevy Bel Air Automobile - RESTORED
1957 Chevy Bel Air Automobile - RESTORED
When I was a kid my brother had a red, 1957 Chevy convertible. Oh, how he loved that car. He even took me out in it with the top down. I had to wear one of those kerchiefs like you see in the old movies with Marilyn Monroe. I remember it as being great fun.
Well, my nephew, my brother's son, decided he wanted to restore a 1957 red Chevy like his father had - not a convertible, though. It came out so beautifully. He worked on it one whole year and here are the results. I don't have the BEFORE pictures but it was quite a transformation!
RESTORED
My nephew, Mike, is a meticulous craftsman. He is a jack of all trades and master of all of them. He can do anything. Seriously. He works on cars. He build a little front porch for me and divided my master bedroom and installed a huge closet. He's done so many things around my house and each one is perfection. You can read more about Mike HERE.
Mike had the interior done in the original design and colors. The entire inside of the car was all brand new, the roof of the car, the seats, the floor, the insides of the doors, the dashboard, everything!
I love the wings on this car.
Here is the Chevy from the front:
Here's Mike, the restorer of this beautiful car.
This car is so SHINY you have to shade your eyes to look at it. Seriously. Every single thing in this car has been painted or shined or replaced (he ordered parts that could not be brought to perfection). You can order the chrome strips, etc.
Here is a picture I put in PicMonkey and made it artsy. I posterized it.
Hope you enjoyed looking at this awesome car restoration that my nephew did. He already won a prize at one of the car shows. I'm not surprised!
