This fudge is amazing and easy. It's a three ingredient melt and pour fudge! Easiest ever.
I love the funness of this fudge. What's more fun than gumdrops? But I wanted to make it even MORE fun so I thought about what shape might make this even more fun. I thought about a bell, a star, and a few other Christmas shapes that didn't seem fun enough. Then I thought about a reindeer shape. I went to the internet and I found lots of reindeer shapes to use as a pattern to cut out the candy reindeer.
Recipe:
12 oz. package white chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup gumdrops plus extra to use for antlers, nose, and hooves
1 mini chocolate chip for eye
Ribbon to embellish
Melt the white chocolate chips in the sweetened condensed milk on a low heat. Be careful not to overheat. Stir in the gumdrops and quickly pour into a lightly greased 8 x 11 inch pan. Let cool overnight.
I used a mini chocolate chip for an eye and gumdrops for antlers, spearing the gumdrops with toothpicks as in the picture above and, of course, a red gumdrop for the nose. I guess he must be Rudolph then?
This fudge tastes even better 2 or 3 days later as it begins to pick up the flavors of the spice drops.
Place your reindeer pattern on top of the cooled fudge and cut out around the pattern with a knife. As you can see, I have a professional pattern. NOT. I used a red crayon to draw out the shape of a reindeer.. after checking the internet for inspiration, of course. :)
I added a really pretty bow, a Christmasy bow.
There is plenty of fudge left to cut into squares also. I ate the scraps. :)
Another look. I'm trying to "style" the picture. Not happening. Gosh, the pictures are the hardest part for me. Kristy offers suggestions which help a lot since I'm the chief-cook-and-bottle-washer over here and this is definitely not my forte, people.

Best wishes,
I'm featuring this recipe at the Little Cottage Link Party at 9 am tomorrow morning. I'm also stealing the recipe (and pretending it was my idea) for the next Christmas party.
