How to Repurpose and DIY for the Home and Thursday Favorite Things Party

Repurpose and DIY
For the Home

There's nothing more fun for me than making some things for my home. I just created some really cute yellow lemons pinwheels for my bay kitchen window and I am loving the fresh, bright, happy color it brings to the room. It cost me zero money because I already had paper to pick out of from my pretty scrapbook albums and I settled them in a small wooden box that I already had. Boom. It changed the entire look of the kitchen. I'm also considering making a yellow valance for the window also to up the ante even more... more yellow... more bright... happy color!

  6. Linda, I started with #150 on my Scottie dog, fuzzy funny Valentine who a week ago I almost lost — a story with a happy ending. Hubby and I are staying in today to care for Fibber McGee. #152 is Meet Me at the Eiffel Table Valentine, which will actually bee Pittsburgh tonight! And #153 is a birthday party tablescape for Abe and George.
